About us
Shiramizu is a karate dojo based in the town of Sugito in the Saitama Prefecture. Shiramizu Karate is a member of the Japan Karatedo Federation Wadokai. The dojo is owned by Takamasa Arakawa Sensei, 6th Dan JKF-Wadokai who has a great team of instructors. The dojo boasts some 450 students, some of whom are current JKF and Wadokai champions from kids to adult divisions. Arakawa Sensei himself recently (2008) became the All-Japan Masters Kumite Champion in the 40-44yrs division.

Training opportunities
Shiramizu is happy to welcome international visitors, so please feel free to contact us anytime about coming to study karate in Japan!
