2nd Hartlepool Wadokai Cup

The 2nd Hartlepool Wadokai Karate Cup was held on Sunday 25th September at the Belle Vue Sports Centre. Competitors from 6 to 15 years old showed off their Karate skills in 7 different categories, they were Kata (pre-arranged form), Kumite (fighting) and Team Kumite. No one went away empty handed either, as everyone received a custom made medal for taking part.

The club held a sponsored walk in august to raise money for the competition and held a number of other fundraising events over the year; we also received financial help from ‘New Deal for Communities’.

The students performed exceptionally well, and every trophy or medal was fought hard for. The results in full are as follows:
