Every club needs an identity.The best way of showing that identity is with a badge.We decided to combine our home town of Hartlepool's history,with a connection to the East.We have the rising sun in the background representing our Japanese Karate roots and the stag (or Hart) standing in the sea (or pool) which gives you the Hartlepool (Hart-le-pool) connection.The dove is a traditional Karate representation. Ringed with the name of the club and the words Kara'te in Japanese we have the birth of a new identity.
